台股開盤一度大漲超過90點，但隨著證所稅案遲遲未見明朗，指數震盪走低，終場僅上揚11.51點，收在8254.8點，成交量則明顯放大至新台幣1,100億元以上，同時，月線創下26年來首次連七紅的新紀錄。

本周台股雖一度受美股上漲帶動，但證所稅修正案進度不明、摩台指結算及MSCI權重調整等因素，導致市場觀望氣氛濃厚且量能無法增溫。

保德信高成長基金經理人葉獻文表示，現階段市場最關注就是證所稅修正案，假使能三讀通過，大盤在下周將有機會挑戰8500點關卡，但若協商未成，除衝擊短線信心外，加上證所稅案將拖到6、7月臨時會才可望解決，此時間台股將面臨盤整壓力，預料加權指數將在8000~8500點震盪整理為主。
