歐元區6月失業率維持在12.1%，是連續第4個月沒有變動，失業人數由1929萬人降至1927萬人，是超過兩年來首次下跌。另外，歐元區7月通膨率維持在1.6%，符合市場預期。

德國7月經季節調整失業人口出乎意料下跌7000人，至293.4萬人；失業率維持在6.8%水平。
