想迎接2014年1月1日的第一道曙光？中央氣象局天文站預測，元旦第一道曙光將落在離島蘭嶼，本島的最早曙光則是在6時35分，同時出現在台東三仙台與屏東鵝鑾鼻。

距離明（2014）年元旦僅剩一個多月，許多攝影迷想知道第一道曙光會照耀台灣何處。天文站主任鄭俊岳指出，據天文站之預測，2014年1月1日的第一道曙光，將出現在離島蘭嶼，時間為6時33分。本島部分則在台東三仙台與屏東鵝鑾鼻，時間是6時35分。另外，2013年12月31日最晚的日落，本島部分是台南安平、高雄旗津與屏東關山，時間大約在下午5時25分。離島地區部分則是金門日落最晚，約為下午5時29分。

天文站指出，我們常聽到的曙光，是指太陽上緣碰觸地平線的一刻。不過，當天能否見到美麗的曙光，則端看元旦當天各地天氣而定。
