能源永續 未來趨勢

生物技術跨入能源、材料，台灣產業界先攻。前羅氏全球技術營運總裁楊育民，將協助美國能源公司安瑞思（Amyris）投入生質汽油（Biofuel）領域，中央研究院院長翁啟惠昨（7）日對此表示肯定，並指出，能源永續是未來趨勢之一，中研院也以生技將農業廢棄物轉化為生質能源，都將為能源產業造成革命性轉變。

生技將成為能源革命技術，楊育民肯定的表示，透過生物技術轉化醣成為能源是極高階的科技，目前全球在轉換率上遇到門檻，且轉換後的汽油等生質能源純度也不夠，他有信心能完成這個革命性任務。

對此翁啟惠指出，能源永續是未來趨勢之一，而國內中央研究院、永豐餘集團也積極跨入以生技轉化農業廢棄物，成為新能源與新材料。
