Google 神秘兮兮在舊金山灣打造的大型平底船到底所為何來？謎底終於揭曉，原來 Google 計畫以這船當作海上移動零售中心，且計畫總共打造三艘，這還只是第一艘，總計畫將斥資　3500　萬美元。

根據美國媒體取得的機密預算報告，平底船建造公司 Turner Construction 指出，計畫是在舊金山灣打造這艘船，然後未來將停靠舊金山、洛杉磯和紐約，這項計畫的代碼為 Hangar 3。

Turner Construction 報告中還指出每艘船都計畫當作「漂浮零售商店」，相信這對於推廣明年 Google 眼鏡是一個重要機會。

不過，這與 Google 先前提交給舊金山港局的「工作室」、「暫時性展示中心」的建築性質有些出入，也莫怪乎 Google 一直都不太願意講明。
