台中市昨凌晨發生一起疑似情殺案，王姓男子（26歲）追求一名廖姓女子，廖女有穩定交往對象，婉拒王男的追求，王男對廖女口出惡言，辱罵以下體交朋友，惹來廖女的鄧姓男友（19歲）不滿，雙方約在大雅區雅潭路與雅環路口談判，共四男、二女使用棍棒、西瓜刀等凶器，將王男毆打成重傷，過程中，廖女很甩王男兩個巴掌洩憤，釀王手部骨折、背部刀傷，仍在加護病房觀察中。警方今天陸續逮人偵辦。
