吉里巴斯總統訪台

應中華民國政府邀請，吉里巴斯總統湯安諾於5月29日至6月4日訪台進行國是訪問，並為吉國駐台大使館主持開館典禮及慶祝酒會。

外交部指出，湯安諾總統極為友我，曾在聯合國大會等國際場域為我執言，支持我國參加政府間國際組織，包括世界衛生組織（ＷＨＯ）、聯合國氣候變化綱要公約（ＵＮＦＣＣＣ）及國際民航組織（ＩＣＡＯ）等。
