以為是死狗，結果竟是一條長蛇！新北市消防局重陽分隊接獲民眾交付一只帆布袋，起初原以為是死貓或死狗，結果一打開竟是一條長達1、2公尺的蛇，差點沒嚇出一身冷汗。

這起誇張案件是發生在26日凌晨2點多，當時一名男子來到重陽分隊直接將一只帆布袋交給值班警消，表示：「這個交由你們處理」；警消接獲後以為是貓或狗，還問男子：「死了沒？」話說完後就順勢將帆布袋打開，看見是一條長蛇後，驚恐的對男子說：「怎麼不早說是抓到蛇！」

隨後警消便拿出蛇夾，將這條長達1、2公尺的臭青母夾起放進蛇籠，並立即聯絡新北市動保處前往處理，才結束這場誤蛇為貓狗的勤務驚魂。
