西澳酷熱如火爐　珀斯43度熱死人

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】澳洲西澳首府珀斯(Perth)受到熱浪侵襲，當地日監測得超過43.3°C高溫，當局隨即頒佈禁火令。但在酷熱天氣下，仍有多處發生山林大火，並波及民宅，高溫已造成1名男子死亡。

當地時間周日(12日)中午，大火焚燒約30公頃林木，超過20間房屋被燒毀，消防當局出動超過100名消防員與50輛消防車灌救，並獲報發現一名男子倒臥在家中屋頂，證實他已經被熱死。

珀斯今年面臨23年來最熱的一月，氣溫雖然在入夜後明顯下降，但今天凌晨的氣溫仍高達29.7°C，打破當地52年來紀錄。高溫天氣持續，氣象局預料，部分地區火災危險指數極高，全面禁火令在珀斯及鄰近地區已經生效。同樣在西澳州的中西部城市莫拉瓦(Morawa)，周日下午更出現46.9°C高溫。不少居民只能靠著開冷氣消暑，為當地供電帶來巨大負荷。
