【潘岳／宜蘭報導】宜蘭縣無黨籍議員賴瑞鼎今天上午召開「應徵市長記者會」，宣布參選下屆宜蘭市長，賴瑞鼎喊出：「選人不選黨才有好市長、市政要建設何必分顏色」，呼籲市民跳脫政黨思維藩籬。

下屆宜蘭市長選情，民進黨提名縣議員江聰淵參選，宜蘭市民代表呂金宏表態爭取國黨提名。屬泛綠陣營的賴瑞鼎，宣布參選宜蘭市長，嚴重衝擊民進黨選情；對此，賴瑞鼎說：「我始終秉持著開闊心胸，希望能與民進黨參選人一起做民調，以免讓支持者產生抉擇上的困擾與焦慮，直到現在仍抱持這樣態度。」賴瑞鼎並強調：「我的參選，要思考問題的是民進黨，不是我。」
