【王毓健／綜合報導】臺灣網球一哥盧彥勳新年度不斷創造個人新紀錄！繼昨天生涯首度打入ATP巡迴賽單打4強後，他今在紐西蘭奧克蘭公開賽4強戰又以6比4、7比6(4)，擊敗世界第3、西班牙名將費瑞爾(David Ferrer)，生涯首度闖入ATP巡迴賽單打冠軍戰。
 
首盤盧彥勳拿下後，第2盤又先破發，一度3比1領先，可惜第6局被費瑞爾回破追平，隨後雙方互保發球局至搶7局。搶7局盧彥勳在第4分先攻破費瑞爾發球取得3比1領先，接著緊守優勢，6比4聽牌後首個賽末點就兌現成功，拿下比賽。
 
這場勝利將可使本周世界第62名盧彥勳排名再上層樓，可到第54名左右。
