「南榕」參一腳　環科大校長提議命名

【李政遠／雲林報導】成大新闢設廣場命名，學生票選最高票是「南榕」，但校務會議討論表決，最後通過「廣場不命名」。環球科技大學校長許舒翔昨日在臉書PO文，環科大愛月樓前廣場或許可以考慮命名為「南榕廣埸」，不曉得大家是否贊同？
 
校長許舒翔表示，鄭南榕先生追求民主、言論犧牲的精神值得肯定，如果學生同意將愛月樓前廣場命名為「南榕廣埸」，也沒有什麼不可以。也可以用像曼德拉、翁山蘇姬或其他政治人物來命名都可以思考，也不要是因為政治人物，就將他排除。教育就是多元、愛與包容，在臉書只是徵詢，開學後，讓學生去思考愛月樓前的廣場的命名。
