議員參選人政見：絞死歐巴馬

言論自由有其限制，不能無限上綱。美國一名共和黨籍州議員參選人，日前在個人《推特》(twitter)上公開表示：「歐巴馬應立即以『戰爭罪』被絞死」、「時候到了，讓我們絞死歐巴馬，把他的屍體高高掛起」，引發爭議。他的言論雖被視為「選舉語言」，但公開呼籲處死美國總統，即便經過評估，這些言論「並未造成立即的威脅」，美國國安局特勤人員還是登門拜訪，對他進行監控。

《每日郵報》報導，佛州出租車司機布萊克(Joshua Black)在接受訪問時表示：「我知道美國不會用絞刑處死一個人，但不管用什麼方式，我都希望正義能被伸張」。布萊克強調，自從2011年歐巴馬下令在中東進行無人機轟炸，造成莫名死傷，他的想法就已經成形。這類言論當然有一定的市場，反對歐巴馬的激進人士甚至拍手叫好，但與布萊克同在佛州競選的其他候選人紛紛表態認為不妥，「任何人在社群網站上說要處死自己國家總統，都是不恰當的」。（於慶中／綜合外電報導）
