中國人權惡化　「牙籤插生殖器」酷刑仍存

【大陸中心／台北報導】曾協助山東盲人維權律師陳光誠逃往美國的對華援助協會牧師傅希秋今在台北呼籲，台灣對中國的人權問題切勿採取「鴕鳥政策」，如果台灣持續漠視中國人權議題，將會讓中國民眾對台灣的民主產生質疑。他透露維權律師高智晟被關押期間，曾遭「牙籤插入生殖器」的酷刑，中共殘酷令人髮指。

傅希秋今接受「台灣關懷中國人權聯盟」邀請，在立法院召開聽證會，呼籲台灣社會關注中國人權問題。傅希秋指出，胡溫執政10年期間，人權紀錄劣跡斑斑，中國國家主席習近平與國務院總理李克強上台後，人權紀錄不但沒有改善，反而持續惡化，政治思維倒退回毛澤東時代。
 
傅希秋呼籲，兩岸不能只發展經濟關係，台灣也必須關注中國人權問題，如果台灣民眾冷漠，「中國民眾將會對台灣民主產生質疑」，「鴕鳥心態」切不可取。
